Junior Fashion Designer (Bangi)

Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Fashion Designer to join our creative team at Bulan Bintang.
In this role, you’ll assist in the design and development of new collections — from concept to final product. You’ll work closely with our senior designers and production team to bring fresh, trend-driven ideas that align with the Bulan Bintang brand identity.

Responsibilities

1. – Measure sample, sample fitting session, advise fitting comments
2. – Keep up-to-date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours and shapes;
3. – Manage the design process from conception through to final styling;
4. – Source, analyse and select fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments;
5. – Willingness to learn and help others out to work as a team.
6. – Check and ensure the finishing quality and fitting measurements for all new samples are according to the specification before proceeding for mass production

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent
2. Possess in-depth knowledge and 1-2 years of practical experience in fashion design;
3. Enthusiastic, creative, decisive with good judgement and strong analytical skills;
4. Have an eye for colours, textures and patterns;
5. Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast pace environment;
6. Fluent command in Bahasa Malaysia, English.
7. Team work oriented.
8. Good personality.
9. Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design, Creative Design, or equivalent is welcome to apply

Job Type:

1. Project Basis
2. Contract length: 3-6 months
3. Salary: RM2,600
4. Working condition: WFO
5. Location: Bandar Baru Bangi
